Task Force Fitness begins Monday, May 19

Task Force Fitness is a military based fitness program designed to challenge those who participate at every level of conditioning. The program targets muscular strength and endurance, cardio respiratory endurance, flexibility and body composition which are the components of fitness required by today's Army standards.
Instructor: SFC Donald Harrod, Senior Infantry Instructor, 154th RTI, Camp Shelby, MS
Member of Anatomies since 1998
Sessions: Monday and Thursday evenings 1900 hours (7:00 pm). 1 hour duration.
Cost: $99 - 6 week program
Targeted Groups: Men and Women - Beginner to Advanced fitness levels
Standards: Military PT test conducted at beginning to help set desired personal goals. Pt test conducted again at end of program to assess physical improvement.

Did you know that high cholesterol can lead to coronary artery (heart) disease? Although there are risk factors beyond your control, such as age, gender and family history, there are things you can control that will reduce your risk, like your diet, your weight, your physical activity and exercise.

SPRING ’08 NEW CLASS…. Ride & Relax - Do you only have an hour to workout, but would like to do more than one class? Then RIDE & RELAX is the class for you. This brand new class consists of a 30 minute Spin Express class followed by a 30 minute Group Centergy class. The 1st half hour of the class will be held in the SPIN studio and the next half hour will be held in STUDIO A. Ride & Relax will begin on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 9:15 a.m.

Cram Session with Denise starts Monday, March 31
Cram Session is a small group training session with intensity...designed by Denise, Anatomies' Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Director. This is a great way to 'cram' a workout into your lunch break or on your way home from work. Cram your 30-minute workout into your lunch hour (11:30 a.m.) or into your busy afternoon schedule (4:30 p.m.) on Mondays and Fridays.
The 4 week program begins Monday, March 31st. There are only 14 spots available.

T-Pain's Boot Camp for Kids 6-13 on Thursdays beginning March 13!
Looking for something for your children to do? Tyrone Davis, one of Anatomies' Personal Trainers, will begin T-Pain's Boot Camp on March 13, 2008. This is a 4-week program that will take place each Thursday at 5:45 p.m. in the Group Fitness Room for kids 6-13. The cost is only $20 and you can sign your child up at the Front Desk.

Starting March 14, 2008, all of our children's facilities will be open from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every Friday. We have had several members express interest in this and we look forward to seeing the entire family working out.
The Youth Fitness Center will be open during Spring Break, March 10-14, 2008, at the following times: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (close at 7:00 p.m. on Friday).

V.I.P. Pre-Paid Account Changes Take Effect
Beginning March 4, 2008, a new and improved V.I.P. Pre-Paid account was introduced. After careful consideration, this change was brought on to better serve our members. In order to participate in the V.I.P. account, we need to have a credit or debit card on file. Any negative balance plus $10.00 will be drafted on this card the 3rd Thursday of each month. You will only be drafted if your account is negative on the 3rd Thursday of the month and as a result you will have a positive balance of $10.00 on your V.I.P. account. Money can still be deposited in your account via cash, check or credit/debit card, just as before. You will be able to check your balance at the Front Desk anytime. You will no longer hear the Front Desk staff say, "Your account is negative" after you have been checked in. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us and we will be more than happy to go over anything with you. We ask for your patience as we make this change. We are here to make your fitness experience the best it can be.
